The Griffin was made in the summer of 2018 and is loosly based on a Stormcast Vangaurd Warhammer figure.  I decided to scale one of the figures up to a size that was as permissible by the space I had to work in

The construction  took several weeks an internal wooden frame was made and then it was clad in stapled cardboard. the shapes are made by cutting, twisting and bending the cardboard and then attaching it around the frame   I had to make a few changes from the original model but it still contained the character   One of the front legs had to be altered to accommodate the weight of the head.
